Sunday 8 February - Training at Hove

Hi everyone

Just to remind you that it is training at Hove this Sunday - if there is any change to that because of weather conditions - I will text/phone you!

Also to remind you that number for WASPS Day will be confirmed on Sunday and money will be needed. It may be possible to book extra seats after Sunday but I can't guarantee it.

Thanks
Fiona

Sunday 22 March - Wasps vs Bristol

We are organising another Wasps day like the one last year (and the year before that!)!!

Sunday 22nd March, Wasps vs Bristol in the Guinness Premiership.

The format of the day is as last year. Early coach depart - 07.45am (or drive independently) up to training ground, (Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe) for a 2 hour coaching session run by representatives from the Wasps Coaching academy.

Then, coach to the ground where we watch the game against Bristol from the stand, before heading back to Hove after the match - arriving back approx 7.15pm.

All those that have attended previously have agreed that these Match Day coaching sessions provide a fantastic day for both kids and adults alike.

We need to give numbers to Wasps 6 weeks prior - so need to know by next week - and, preferably, by this Sunday.

Prices are as follows;
£20 per participant child - including training and ticket and a Certificate and London Wasps Gift (this year I believe it will be the 08/09 Beanie Hat - but don't hold me to that!)
£20 per adult.
£10 per concession (OAP, Students & U18's).
Note - the prices for kids have not gone up for the last 2 years and the adult price has only gone up by £1 - excellent value for money!

I will need a deposit of £10 per child/adult and £5 per concession.

In addition to the participating child, I need to know how many adult tickets you require, and how many concessions, together with how many seats on the coach you require. If you intend to drive instead, can you confirm this too.

PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR REQUIREMENTS ASAP - I WILL OF COURSE ALSO HAVE MY CLIP BOARD WITH ME ON SUNDAY!!

WASPS DAY - 9th March 2008

We have organised another Wasps day like the one last year!!

Sunday 9th March, Wasps vs Harlequins in the Guinness Premiership.

The format of the day is as last year. Early coach depart (or drive independently) up to training ground, followed by a 2 hour coaching session run by representatives from the Wasps Coaching academy.

Then, coach to the ground where we watch the game against Harlequins from the stand, before heading back to Brighton after the match.

All those that attended last year agreed that this was a fantastic day for both kids and adults alike despite the abysmal weather!!

We now need to give numbers to Wasps - which must be sent by next Monday.

Prices are as follows;
£20 per participant child - including training and ticket (also a Certificate and London Wasps gift - remember those horns??)
£19 per adult.
£10 per concession (OAP, Students & U18's).

I have looked into coach prices, and a full 49 seater will work out around £11 per head return, and a full 70 seater around £9.50.

If you want to come along, then please either e-mail Neale at neale.thibaut@citytech.com, or let me know on Sunday. After that it will be too late. So if you aren't there on Sunday, you had better mail!

In addition to the participating child, I need to know how many adult tickets you require, and how many concessions, together with how many seats on the coach you require. If you intend to drive instead, can you confirm this too.

Wasps trip 25th of November

Information relating to the Wasps trip this Sunday is attached including driving directions for those travelling by car.

For those travelling on the coach, we will be departing Shirley Drive at 7.45am prompt on Sunday morning, and so please arrive with plenty of time to get onto the coach in time for this departure time. We cannot leave late or we will miss the training session.

As it stands - there are a total of 75 of us going up on Sunday, with 56 booked on the coach - the remainder are driving up or meeting up with us there.HighWycombe
The coach is a 70 seater - and so there is plenty of room if any of you drivers change your mind and want to let the coach take the strain!

I have handed out all the tickets now - apart from one or two that I have spoken too about extras - which I will hand out on Wednesday. We have an allocated block of seating, and so please do not worry if your seats are not next to each other or your kids, we all have seats, and so we can sort the seating out on arrival.

I still have available 2 adult tickets and one child participant ticket - please contact me ASAP if you are interested in any of these.

We have the coach for the full day, and so it should be possible to leave things on the coach - I am checking this with the coach company and will let you know if any different.

In terms of clothes for the kids, it has been suggested that they save their Hove shirts for the team photo on the pitch at Wasps as this will look much better, so could you please put the kids in an alternative sutable top for training. The kids will need a change of clothes anyway - as depending upon the weather they might get wet / muddy (the weekend is currently forecast as Sunny - but a long way off yet!!)

Please bring plenty of snacks and drinks - although I am sure that there will be opportunity to get snacks both at the training site and also at the ground.

Please note that we are not allowed to take or consume alcohol on the coach.

Please also take a note of my mobile phone number 07921 880308 - please do not hesitate to ring me if you have any questions between now and then!

I will be at training on Wednesday - so any of you attending can alternatively ask me then.
